Analytics

The Analytics page is where workspace staff see how training is performing - how learners are doing, what's outstanding, what's happening day-to-day, and (for Workspace Owners) how much AI spend the workspace is generating.

Accessible to: Workspace Owners, Admins, Trainers, Reviewers.

Open Analytics from the sidebar.

What's on the page

Analytics is organised as a set of sections listed in a sidebar down the left of the page. Each section has its own web address, so you can bookmark or share a link straight to it:

  • Insights - leaderboards and headline performance numbers across the workspace. This is where Analytics opens by default.
  • Outstanding - assignments that haven't been started, are in progress, or are waiting for review.
  • Activity - a chronological feed of important workspace events (logins, course completions, score overrides, settings changes, billing actions).
  • Evidence - files learners have uploaded as evidence, gathered per course. Visible to Workspace Owners, Trainers, and Reviewers - not Admins.
  • AI Cost - Workspace Owners only. The workspace's AI spend, with breakdowns by feature, model, course, and user.

Insights section

The Insights section pulls together top-level performance signals for the whole workspace, including:

  • Average score across recent simulations and Knowledge Checks.
  • Workspace-wide completion rate.
  • A leaderboard of top performers across courses.

If your workspace is brand new and has no completed assignments yet, the page shows a friendly empty state. The numbers populate as soon as learners start finishing courses.

Course feedback

If a course includes a Feedback block, learners can leave their thoughts on it - whether it met their expectations, what worked well, and what could be improved. To read that feedback, click a course in the Insights section's course list to open its detail page, then switch to the Feedback tab (it appears only for courses that have a feedback block).

The Feedback tab lists every response, showing who left it and when alongside their answers to the three questions. A course nobody has given feedback on yet shows an empty state.

Use the Download CSV button on the Feedback tab to export all responses as a spreadsheet-friendly file - one row per learner, with their name, email, submission date, and answers. The button is greyed out until at least one response has been submitted.

Who can see learner feedback

The course detail page is available to Workspace Owners, Admins, Trainers, and Reviewers, but the Feedback tab itself is limited to Workspace Owners, Admins, and Trainers - reviewers do not see learner feedback.

Outstanding section

A focused list of assignments that aren't done. Use it to chase up:

  • Learners who haven't started yet.
  • Learners who started but didn't finish.
  • Debriefs sitting in Pending review that need a reviewer to confirm or override the AI score.

Click any row to jump to the relevant assignment or session.

Activity section

Activity is a chronological feed of what's happened in your workspace recently. Typical rows include:

  • Sign-ins and member changes.
  • Course creation, edits, and publication.
  • Assignments created, started, and completed.
  • Scoring decisions (AI scores, reviewer overrides).
  • Workspace setting changes (audit-trail entries).

Use it when you need a quick "what's been going on?" picture, or when troubleshooting a one-off incident.

Evidence section

Some courses ask learners to upload evidence - a photo of completed work, a signed PDF, a short video demonstration - on an "Upload file" slide. The Evidence section is where the people running the training review what learners have submitted.

Open Evidence from the Analytics sidebar, then pick a course. You'll see every learner who has uploaded something for that course, with their files grouped underneath them. Each file shows:

  • An inline preview - images and videos play in place; documents show a file card.
  • The course version the file was submitted against, so you can tell which revision of the course it answers.
  • A Download link to save the original file.

If a course has no upload slides, or no one has uploaded anything yet, the section shows a clear message explaining which is the case.

Who can see learner evidence

Uploaded evidence can contain personal information, so it is deliberately limited to Workspace Owners, Trainers, and Reviewers. Admins do not see the Evidence section - it does not appear in their Analytics sidebar. Reviewing evidence is read-only: only the learner who uploaded a file can delete it.

AI Cost section

Workspace Owners only

The AI Cost section is hidden for everyone except Workspace Owners. It is also hidden for any user who shouldn't see workspace finances.

AI Cost is your full breakdown of what the workspace is spending on AI calls this billing month. It shows:

  • A running total for the current period.
  • A breakdown by feature (course generation, scoring, narration, Ask Aimee, AI image generation, and so on).
  • A breakdown by model so you can see where the biggest line-items come from.
  • The top-spending courses and users in the period.

Use it together with the AI Sessions meter on Billing to understand both volume (how many calls) and cost (what they totalled).
